NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 to the rescue!

I recently needed to upgrade an older PC to make it run the Applied Streetview programs.
It had an old GTX 650 TI graphics card, which does not work because the Compute Capability is only 3.0, while a minimum compute capability of 5.2 and 4GB VRAM is needed.
Also the limited power supply of the PC did not allow for the GTX 1080 or new RTX 2060 graphics card we usually recommend.
The solution is the new Gigabyte Geforce GTX1650 Mini ITX OC 4G.
It does not even need an extra power cable.
The Performance is like 0.63 seconds/streetview. That’s 137.000 streetviews in 24 hours.
Not bad for just about 150 USD.

Straight forward installation of Instant Player

Starting with new release 2.6.1 Instant Player now shows a pop-up with a download link in case CUDA 10 is missing.
We also added an About this PC chapter to the About page.
The most releavant specifications of the PC are now available with a single click.
We recommend to update.

Creator keeping up the speed

When processing very big projects Creator 3 started to slow down after a few thousand streetviews. This has been fixed with release 3.2.8. A test with a project worth 165.000 streetviews was processed with a performance of 0.31 seconds per streetview from the first to the last streetview using a GTX 1080 graphics card. That’s the equivalent of 278.000 streetviews in 24 hours.
We recommend to update.
